Alex Pozo

Born in the salty beaches of Havana, Cuba, raised in South Florida since the early 2000's, my journey into the world of the arts began by my artistic skills that would one day lead me into the world of capturing light. As I grew up I obtained a Fine-Arts degree where I mastered the skills of fine arts, drawing and illustration.

But even though I could draw anything, I had a fascination for capturing the perfect moments my eyes would see and I remember thinking " If only I could capture this moment when I shut my eyes". One fateful day my aunt gifted me a Canon Coolpix 180, sparking a lifelong fascination for capturing the world.

From that day forward my camera became an extension of myself, documenting nature, urban life and architecture. Although I have outgrown that original camera, my visual narratives still seek to capture the essence of life and the world around us. Each photograph or artistic project is a medium through which I can unveil the hidden beauty of the world around me.  

In my present life I combine my mastery of painting and photography into digital creations for to inspire the world. Blending these forms of art allow me to capture moments, emotions and beauty in a single work of art.. Through the lens, I find creativity, inspiration, and a profound connection to the world around me.
